July 24th to 28th

Fair of Santiago and Santa Ana

Lights, music, and joy at the Royal Fair of Villafranca

When the July heat bears down, Villafranca de Córdoba responds with its brightest festival. The Fair and Festivals in honor of Santiago Apóstol and Santa Ana is one of the most anticipated events of the summer, where the municipality pours into the fairgrounds to celebrate coexistence, music, and tradition.

For five days, from July 24th to 28th, the life of the town moves to the “casetas” (fair tents). From the turning on of the lights, which marks the official start, to the closing fireworks, an unparalleled family atmosphere is experienced, where sevillanas mix with the latest rhythms.

Leisure for all audiences

The fair offers a wide variety of activities. During the day, the atmosphere is more relaxed, ideal for enjoying the local gastronomy. As night falls, the venue fills with energy with live performances and orchestras. The little ones have their space in the “calle del infierno” (rides area) with the traditional attractions, while the religious acts, such as the procession of Santiago Apóstol, recall the sacred origin of the celebration.
